Christmas in the Park to follow parade

The 1940s are over in downtown McMinnville, at least as far as “I’ll Be Home for Christmas” is concerned. Offered for the past five years, the celebration of that decade has been cancelled and “Christmas in the Park” is taking its place. In 2009, Main Street McMinnville and Heritage Alliance joined forces to offer residents a peek into the 1940s by recreating a Christmas past with music, carolers, lights and decorations, people dressed in period outfits, vintage cars, window displays, entertainment, and activities reminiscent of that decade.
