Twice a year, most Americans change our clocks and watches -- unless, of course, they change themselves, thanks to technology.March 13, it was time for us to “spring forward” one hour, thus “losing” an hour of sleep, but “gaining” an hour of daylight. Technically speaking, it was supposed to happen at 2 a.m. local time. Practically speaking, most of us scurried around the house, advancing our clocks and watches by one hour before retiring for the night.
