James Mike Orrick, 63

James “Mike” Orrick, 63, died April 12. 
He was the maintenance supervisor for First Baptist Church of Joelton and was a member of Hermitage Church of the Nazarene. He was an avid Braves and Vanderbilt baseball fan, loved music and golf, but the most important part of his life was family and being Paw Paw to his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his mother Mary Inez Orrick; brother Jerry Verlon Orrick; and sister-in-law Linda Dickey. 
He is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Kathy Massey Orrick; son Brian Biggs (Dorinda); daughter Jennifer Lee and fiancé Kyle Gregory; grandchildren Brianna Post, Tristan Lee, Dakota Biggs, Emberlynn Biggs and Atalaya Biggs; father James Verlon Orrick; brother David Orrick (Tammy); sister Terri Foutch (Buddy); mother and father-in-law, Iva and William Nathan Massey; brother-in-law Nathan Massey (Debbie).
A celebration of life service was held April 15 in the chapel of Spring Hill Funeral Home with pastor Howard Plummer and pastor Rondy Smith officiating. Burial followed at Spring Hill Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Rest Stop Ministries, P.O. Box 111, Hermitage, TN 37076.
