A woman was airlifted from a field next to Beersheba Highway on Thursday night after her vehicle was struck broadside as it was pulling into a driveway.
Veronica Turner, 24, was airlifted after she was ejected from the Chevy Blazer in which she was a passenger.
The wreck happened Thursday around 5:30 p.m. on Beersheba Highway not far from Irving College School. Zachary Turner, 25, was driving the Chevy Blazer traveling outbound on the highway.
Mr. Turner misjudged the space needed to turn left from the highway into a driveway. In doing so, he pulled into the path of a Ford F250 driven by Michael Stoner, 28. Stoner didn’t have time to take evasive action and collided with the Blazer.
Stoner and his passenger, Michael Mosley, were not hospitalized.
Mr. Turner and two children in his Blazer are not believed to be seriously injured either, according to the Highway Patrol. The wreck closed the highway for over an hour.
