Staff and students partied down in the gym at West Elementary Friday night for Halloween. A cast of characters from Sumo wrestlers to Barbie were roaming the gym playing games and dancing their hearts out.

Michelle Lewis, principal for 11 years at the K-5 school, was delighted to be surrounded by the enthusiastic festival goers. “We have such a great student body and faculty,” she beamed. “This is the first year we are letting the fifth graders raise funds for their annual field trip in this fashion.”

The attendees had a wide array of activities including a costume contest, face painting, tinsel threading, limbo, photo booth and best of all, they danced, danced, danced the night away.
