Local resident Beverley Hertwig doesn’t have any trouble remembering where she was 50 years ago.She was on the streets of Dallas watching a presidential motorcade drive by – and she got to see President John F. Kennedy three or four blocks before he was assassinated.“It was just a regular day where I got up and went to work,” said Hertwig, a Warren County native who was living in Dallas for three years at the time. “I had no idea that something was going to happen that would change my life and change history forever. It’s one of those things where I can remember everything about that day.
