Sentences were handed down against several defendants by Circuit Court Judge Bart Stanley for crimes ranging from jail rioting to driving without a license. Included in court action:
• Norvel Lee Judkins Jr., must serve 90 days for rioting. His charges come for an uprising at Warren County Jail where he was an inmate. He and six other inmates were charged for refusing to stop their actions when ordered to by jail guards. Most of his co-defendants have already been sentenced.
• Houston Kelly Thaxton II was ordered to serve 60 days of a two-year sentence and pay $150 plus costs for possession of a prohibited weapon and possession of drug paraphernalia.
• Jason Taylor Neusse was ordered to serve 60 days of an 11-29 sentence, pay $1,000 plus costs, perform 40 hours public service work and lose his driver license for two years for second-offense DUI.
• Anthony James Fresso must serve 48 hours of an 11-29 sentence and make $100 restitution for theft.
• William Michael Breeding II must pay $10 plus costs for driving without a valid driver license.
• David Bain was given a year in jail for violating his probation out of drug court. He will be allowed to be transferred to a rehab facility to serve his time once a spot becomes available.
• Darrell Brent Collier was directed to serve 180 days of an 11-month, 29-day sentence, pay $1,500 plus costs, perform 48 hours public service work and undergo a drug and alcohol assessment for third-offense DUI and driving on a revoked license.
• Richard Dustin Lee must pay $10 plus costs for driving without a license.
