WCMS baseball implements summer workout program

Warren County Middle School baseball player Ryland Holder keeps a steady pace while running a mile during the WCMS baseball teams summer workout program for eighth-graders. Holder will be one of several teammates participating in the new workout regimen.
The Warren County Middle School baseball team has been hard at work over the summer, trying to improve and take it to the next level next season after a miraculous season this past year. Two new things WCMS baseball fans need to be excited about is head coach Chad Young has implemented a new workout routine, open only to eighth-graders on the team, to help them improve their skills and get stronger. Eighth-grader Jace Brantley, who starred on the Boyd baseball team last year, comes over and gives them more experience and Alec Hobbs is another eighth-grade edition, who will contribute right away.Young said about the new program, ‘It will be open gym conditioning.
