The Warren County Lady Pioneers went to blows Saturday night versus Scott County, Ky., in the Warrior Classic softball tournament. Warren County got on the scoreboard early then went cold until the final inning when the Lady Pioneers came up just shy of tying the game and were defeated, 4-3.Lady Pioneer Lindsey Cox went the distance in the circle and she allowed four runs off seven hits. Cox walked two and had no strikeouts.Warren County went to work early and scored two runs off three first-inning walks.
