Samuel Todd Price, 50, of Sparta died Wednesday afternoon, July 20, at his home. He was born July 26, 1960 in White County and was an avid sports fan being a fan of NASCAR and Dale Earnhardt, the NFL’s Dallas Cowboys and baseball’s Atlanta Braves. He was preceded in death by his father, Donald Keith Price and son, James Keith Price.He is survived by two daughters, Brandi (Nathanael) Thompson of Dickson, and Shawna Price of Sparta; mother Janette Garrett Price of Sparta; sister Jennifer (Greg) Winton of Sparta; brother Tim (Becky) Price of McMinnville; two grandchildren, Rylee and Brady Thompson of Dickson; several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles also survive.Graveside services were held Saturday at Saylors Cemetery with Trevor Trahan officiating.Hunter Funeral Home of Sparta was in charge of arrangements.Southern Standard (McMinnville, Tenn.)
