McMinnville resident and Cannon County native Richard Lavoy Bryan, 72, was born Feb. 5, 1943 and died Sept. 30 at his residence. A retired construction worker and a member of Friendship the Baptist Church, was the son of the late Carl Ellis and Pearl Olean Byars Bryan. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Wanda Heaton and Patricia Fowler.
