Dr. Haskell Harrison Greer Jr., 71, of McMinnville died Monday, Feb. 6, at NHC Health Care in McMinnville. Born July 17, 1945 in Nashville to Haskell and Thelma Greer, he graduated from East High in Nashville in 1963, and attended MTSU where he received a bachelor of science degree, a master of arts degree, and a doctorate of arts degree in history. Haskell married on Sept. 16, 1966, moved to McMinnville in 1967 to work in the Warren County schools where he taught for nearly 50 years.
