A local woman made illegal use of her body cavities Saturday, and now faces five counts of introduction of drugs into a penal institution after being caught with a variety of items at Warren County Jail.McMinnville resident Rebecca Leeanne Thomas, 37, faces the charges after a jailer observed her removing an item Saturday night.According to the warrant, corrections officer Sharon Reed first noticed Thomas removing a package from a body cavity. Reed approached the inmate and asked for the item and Thomas reportedly handed over a package containing tobacco.Reed then left the area and returned to the tower of the women’s facility to further monitor Thomas. She then noticed Thomas trying to retrieve other items.When confronted by the corrections officer a second time, Thomas handed over a lighter.
