McMinnville resident and Van Buren County native Wanda Joyce Thomison Rowland, 88, was born Aug. 16, 1936 in the Rocky River Community and died Dec. 7, 2024 at Alive Hospice in Murfreesboro. A retired housekeeper with NHC McMinnville and a member of Earlyville Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late James Marion and Della Jane Hillis Thomison. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, Robert Eugene Rowland; grandson, Chad A. Rowland; brothers, James, Glen and Ray Thomison; brother-in-law, Ray Hale and son-in-law, Paul Noble.
