Woman crashes through garage

Firemen monitor the crash site after Christie Wimley ran her car through a garage located in a backyard off the Bypass Sunday afternoon.
Christie Wimley, 38, was rushed to River Park Hospital on Sunday after she crashed her car through an outbuilding off the Bypass. Witnesses said Wimley veered off the highway and went over a steep embankment before crashing through two fences and hitting the garage. The crash remains under investigation as to what caused her to leave the roadway.
