A woman who ran over a deputy’s foot will get no jail, instead being granted a judicial diversion.The woman, Sarah Smith, was given a six-month probationary sentence on the charge of resisting arrest. The count will be settled by a judicial diversion, meaning her criminal record will be erased if she gets into no trouble during her probation. She will also be required to perform 16 hours public service work and pay $256.
