Rescue workers use the Jaws of Life to free Ann Pelham, 60, from the wreckage of her Volvo early Wednesday afternoon. Pelham pulled into the path of an oncoming van driven by Sean D. Wells in front of Crisp Springs Market on Old Shelbyville Road. Pelham was airlifted to Vanderbilt from the scene.
