Stealing two newspapers will cost a man half a year behind bars, but his sentence isn’t related to the newspapers.Instead, Jayme Bryon Wilson, 41, is going to jail for not reporting where he was living to the Tennessee sexual offender registry. The state requires sex offenders to report their movements within 48 hours of establishing a new residence so the registry can monitor their whereabouts.Wilson’s arrest came after he reportedly took two Southern Standards from a newspaper box in front of Cleaner’s Express. The business owner saw him taking the papers without paying after another person had paid to get a paper and the door was still open.
