WCHS sees enrollment increase by 107 students

The bell has rung for the 2011-12 school year and 6,536 students are registered in Warren County schools.Topping the list is 1,878 students at Warren County High School, which is 107 students more than the school had last year for opening day.Most schools saw about the same enrollment as last year with Warren County Middle School having exactly the same number of students, 867, as it did last year. Outside of the high school, West Elementary had the biggest change in enrollment with 37 more students.As the year gets under way, many eyes are on Dibrell School, which is conducting classes while the school remains under renovation. The project isn’t scheduled to be complete until October.“I was out at Dibrell this morning,” Director of Schools Dr. Jerry Hale said Monday, “and they’re still moving desks around and making adjustments.
