Warren County High School is holding an open house for upcoming freshmen and their parents this Thursday, May 3, from 5:30 to 7 p.m.WCHS teachers, guidance counselors and principals will be on hand to answer questions new students may have as they make the leap to high school. School officials note it can often be intimidating for students to go from a smaller county school to the 1,800-student high school so events like this one aid in the process.WCHS clubs will have tables set up with information about their organizations so students can get an idea if it’s a club they might want to join. The culinary arts department will provide refreshments.School tours will be available.Freshmen students are largely confined to their own wing of the school called Ninth Grade Academy.
