Warren County residents will gather at Nunley Stadium on Friday to celebrate the 10th annual community Relay for Life. Over the course of 10 years, Relay for Life of Warren County has raised over $1 million for cancer research, education, advocacy and patient services, while involving thousands of participants walking tens of thousands of miles. Appropriately so, this year’s theme is “Hope through the Decades.”Relay for Life is a fun-filled overnight event that mobilizes communities throughout the country to celebrate survivors (anyone who has ever been diagnosed with cancer), remember loved ones lost, fight back against a disease that takes too much, and raise money for the fight against cancer.
