The Tennessee Highway Patrol says two children under 12 were killed Saturday in Grundy County when their go-kart was hit by a car.
The accident took place on Northcutts Cove Road in Altamont just before 1 p.m.
Nicholas Keener, 11, and Calvin Keener, 4, were both killed, according to the Highway Patrol.
The accident report indicates Nicholas drove the go-kart down a hill near their home and into the road where they were hit by a car. Calvin Keener was pronounced dead at the scene. Nicholas Keener was flown to Erlanger Medical Center in Chattanooga where he died.
The woman driving the car, Rebecca Hobbs, 30, is not facing any criminal charges.
Visitation will be held Monday at Layne Funeral Home in Palmer from 2-10 p.m. Their funeral will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m.
