A young mother was hospitalized Tuesday morning, but her three children escaped injury when their vehicle rolled on Old Shelbyville Road.Local resident Courtney Carpenter, 25, was transported to River Park Hospital for what is believed to be non-critical injuries. Her three children, age 1 and twins age 2, were not injured, according to the Warren County Sheriff’s Department.The single-vehicle accident happened Tuesday at 7:55 a.m. as Carpenter was traveling toward McMinnville on Old Shelbyville Road. Her Nissan Pathfinder drove off the right side of the road, and hit two mailboxes and one street sign before colliding with a driveway culvert and flipping.The sheriff’s department says drugs and alcohol were not involved.
