Irving-College-construction
With construction well under way at Irving College, an additional 1.3 acres has been purchased adjacent to the school.
The three construction projects at Bobby Ray, Irving College and Warren County High School are still progressing, but each is one to two weeks behind schedule.A project update was given to the county’s Education Committee on Monday by Director of Schools Bobby Cox, who presented committee members Diane Starkey, Terry Bell, Morris Bond and Scott Rubley with a written progress report by Upland Design Group architect Derrick Clemow.“I drove around and there seems to be a lot working going on,” said Starkey.Cox stated, “There is a lot of work going on. Hopefully, the goal is to get it into the dry before this winter so they can work on the inside part, especially at Irving College. Over fall break, they will be doing some work inside the gym at Bobby Ray.”Starkey asked Cox if any more “surprises” have been found underground at Irving College.
