Get ready to groove.Over 35 bands are scheduled to perform this weekend on a 200-acre city park in Franklin in what will be the inaugural Pilgrimage Music & Cultural Festival.Willie Nelson, Wilco, Weezer, Sheryl Crow, and Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler are among those in the two-day lineup. Music is set to start at 10:30 a.m. this Saturday and Sunday with Willie Nelson closing down the festival Sunday night with a show that starts at 6:30 p.m.Promoters envision The Park at Harlinsdale becoming an oasis for music with rolling hills providing a natural amphitheater setting and wood-clad stages enhancing the rustic appeal.Two-day passes are still available for $172, with single-day passes for $92. Other bands include The Decemberists, Dr. John, Cage the Elephant, and Trampled by Turtles.Michael Whelan, one of the three festival founders, says “curating” is the key word when it came to developing the festival’s unique lineup.“We wanted to create a festival that has a little bit of something for everyone without looking like it was just a bunch of things thrown together,” said Whelan.
