NASHVILLE (AP) — Restaurants at eight Tennessee state parks will be open Nov. 28 to serve Thanksgiving dinner.
Turkey and trimmings will be available starting at 11 a.m. Prices range from $13.50 to $15.95 per person, excluding drinks and gratuity. Group reservations are recommended.
The state parks serving the Thanksgiving dinners are Cumberland Mountain, David Crockett, Fall Creek Falls, Henry Horton, Montgomery Bell, Natchez Trace, Paris Landing and Pickwick Landing.
Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation Deputy Commissioner Brock Hill said leaving the cooking to the state parks will give families and friends more time to spend with each other.
