The state has released its annual financial report on Warren County for fiscal year 2014-15. No new issues were found, but the report outlined an old one. Comptroller of the Treasury Justin P. Wilson’s review of the county’s financial situation resulted in a negative finding, a situation the county already knew it had – timecard abuse and payroll issues at Warren County EMS during the fiscal year ending June 30, 2015.Per the report, “An investigation by the state Comptroller’s Office of Financial and Compliance Investigations resulted in three internal control and compliance findings related to payroll and related policies and practices of the Warren County EMS-Rescue Service.
