SPARTA, Tenn. (AP) — A small vintage airplane has made an emergency landing on Highway 70 in Sparta, Tenn. No one was injured. WKRN-TV of Nashville reported that the 1946 Globe aircraft was en route to Knoxville from Memphis when it landed on a ramp to the highway shortly after 2:30 p.m. Wednesday.
