Fans of McMinnville’s Silver and Gold Band can catch them in musical action during at least two public appearances scheduled this month. The band will be playing this Sunday, Dec. 11, at First Baptist Church at 3 p.m., and Dec. 18 at Three Star Mall at 3 p.m. The public is invited to attend both performances.“They are both Christmas-related programs,” said Ron Young, a saxophone player in the band. “If someone is almost in the Christmas spirit, we are hoping to push them over the edge.
