Shots fired during meth lab raid

Meth lab charges are pending against three after they were caught trespassing Monday morning in a man’s field while in possession of a truck that had been stolen from a local doctor.“I responded to a complaint of shots being fired,” said sheriff’s deputy Brad Myers of the call that ended in the arrests of Marlin Ray Pinkard, 33, David Matthew Hill, 32, and Vanessa Ray Lute, 33. They are all charged with grand theft, criminal trespassing and will likely be indicted for manufacture of meth. They are set for hearing June 23.When the deputy arrived at the property off Lawson Mill Road around 5 a.m. Monday, he found the three sitting around a fire.
