Two men left investigators photographic evidence which will land them in jail for a month for stealing security cameras. The men, Luther George IV and Christopher Allen Bratcher, were both directed to serve 30 days of 11-month, 29-day sentences and must make restitution and perform 16 hours public service work on charges of theft and vandalism.Their sentences come after they entered guilty pleas before Circuit Court Judge Bart Stanley to victimizing Country Club Market on Manchester Highway earlier this year.Investigators say the men stole two security cameras from their mountings from outside the store. The security cameras, which were valued at $400, were operative and recorded the men committing the crime, saving the evidence inside on the recording device. The incident marked the second time in the past few years in which thieves have stolen the security cameras only to leave proof of their crime on the recording device which is concealed remotely and is recording the incident. In addition to stealing cameras, the men also broke into a vending machine where they caused considerable damage and took about $250 from the machine.
