Students will get an early break from school next Thursday as the first early release Thursday begins for the Warren County School System.Warren County Schools will let out at 1 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 2, to allow teachers to have development time during which they will talk about curriculum and compare notes on instructional practices and ideas. Teachers will not get the benefit of a shorter day as they are scheduled to meet from 1 to 3 p.m. that day.The early dismissal means buses will run at 1 p.m. One exception to the early dismissal will be for extended daycare. It will start at 3 p.m., as normal, and remain on its regular schedule.The Oct. 2 early release will be the first of several scheduled for the first Thursday of the month.
