The disgruntled former teacher who opened fire on Inskip Elementary principal Elisa Cooper moments after being told he would not be rehired has entered guilty pleas to attempted murder charges for shooting her and an assistant principal.“He raised the gun and shot me in the back,” Cooper recalled during a hearing Monday for shooter Mark Stephen Foster. “I fell and he stood on top of me and shot again.”Foster faces 15 to 25 years on the attempted murder counts and could also face an additional 12 years for using a firearm in the commission of a felony. The former fourth-grade teacher had no prior criminal record so his sentences may run concurrently, or at the same time.
