Ross hears 53-person docket

A 53-person docket was heard Thursday by Judge Larry Ross in General Sessions Traffic Court. Cases not listed were dismissed or continued to a later date. Included in court action:• Clifford Keller was bound to the grand jury on charges of reckless driving and second-offense driving on a revoked license.• Jose Gallegos was directed to serve seven days of an 11-29 sentence, pay $1,129, perform 24 hours public service work, attend DUI school, and lose his driver license for one year for DUI.• Eduardo Viveros, Christie Willoughby and Lindon Pack were ordered to serve 48 hours of 11-29 sentences, pay $1,109, perform 24 hours public service work, attend DUI school and lose their driver licenses for one year for DUI.• Michael Adcock was bound to the grand jury on the charge of driving on a revoked license.• Shawn Smith was issued a six-month probationary sentence and must pay $406 for possession of drug paraphernalia.• Richard Goodwin was ordered to serve 48 hours of a six-month sentence, pay $352 and lose his license for one year for driving on a revoked license.• Derrick Barks was directed to serve 48 hours of a six-month sentence, pay $352 and lose his driver license for one year for driving on a suspended license.• Joseph Moore, Alan Smith, Veronica Scott and Jaquantez Pearson must pay $152 for driving without a license.• Terry Murphy must serve 48 hours for failure to appear.• Justin Shockley must serve the balance of his sentence for violation of probation.• Jeffery Cavle must serve the balance of his sentence for violation of probation.
