Ross hears 51-person docket

A 51-person docket was heard Thursday by Judge Larry Ross in General Sessions Traffic Court. Included in court action:• Jennifer Smith was ordered to serve an 11-month, 29-day sentence and pay $379 for second-offense driving on a suspended license. She was given 10 additional days for failure to appear in court.• Brenton Mooneyham was instructed to serve four days of a six-month sentence, pay $302 and lose his driver license for one year for driving on a suspended license and violation of probation.• Mikel Chaple Sr., Jesse Meeks and Michael Reagan were directed to serve 48 hours of 11-29 sentences, pay $1,109, perform 24 hours public service work and lose driving privileges for one year for DUI.• Jake Trapp was handed an 11-29 probationary sentence and must pay $524, lose his boating license for one year, and attend boater safety classes for boating under the influence.• McLouis Peterman was bound to the grand jury on the charge of driving on a suspended license.• James Puller was instructed to serve 48 hours of a six-month sentence, pay $302 and lose his driver license for one year for driving on a suspended license.• Sean Blackmon was ordered to serve 48 hours of a six-month sentence and must pay $819 and lose his driver license for one year for driving on a suspended license and failure to appear in court.• George Wade must pay $330 for driving on a suspended license, speeding and violation of child restraint.• Jerry McCormick was released on time served and must pay $142 for leaving the scene of an accident.• Francisco Betancourt must pay $350 for speeding and driving without a license.• Laura Dennis, Jason Tramel and Franny Ordonez must pay $152 for driving without a license.• Rodney Davis was released on time served and must pay $301 for public intoxication.
