Romance novelist to appear at library

Romance novelist Dr. Lin Stepp will be visiting Magness Library this Saturday, May 18, for a book signing from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. She is the author of 12 books.“Second Hand Rose,” her fifth book, is about a woman who meets a tall, dark stranger. While Rosalyn McCreary never indulges in flights of fancy, one dance with the man threatens to disrupt her routine, practical life.Stepp’s contemporary romances are set in the Smoky Mountains. She also wrote “The Foster Girls,” “Tell Me About Orchard Hollow,” “For Six Reasons,” “Delia’s Place,” “Down By The River,” “Makin’ Miracles,” “Saving Laurel Springs,” “Welcome Back,” “Daddy’s Girl,” “Lost Inheritance” and “The Breakdown.”A native Tennessean, Stepp is a businesswoman and an educator.
