River Park Hospital officials had to wait over 24 hours to welcome the first local baby of 2013. Andres Genaro Mares made his debut at 8:21 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 2. The baby boy, delivered by Dr. Dawnmarie Riley, weighed 8 pounds, 9 ounces and was 19-3/4 inches long.
