Rotary Club of McMinnville received an interesting visit from renowned scientist Dr. Will Johns on Thursday, without the Big Bang. Johns is one of the physicists who worked to discover a Higgs particle using the Large Hadron Collider.“I know, unless you are into physics, this isn’t exciting for most of you,” said Johns. “For me, this is very exciting stuff.”What scientists discovered was a sub-atomic particle they believe is crucial in the formation of the universe.
