The number of potential candidates for the property assessor’s office of retiring Carolyn Miller has grown to double digits with entries from all over the political spectrum.As of Tuesday, 11 potential candidates had picked up qualifying papers from the election office. The gathering of political hopefuls comes after Miller announced she will retire after her current term expires in September. She has served 20 years as property assessor.Both the Democrat and Republican parties have opted to hold primaries in March.
