There was a different kind of touchdown Friday night at Nunley Stadium. This one involved a helicopter touching down in the middle of the field and delivering an honorary pink football to family members of Hailey Ann Taylor.A sophomore at WCHS, Hailey lost a three-year battle to cancer Aug. 25.The football presentation was part of Pink Out Night, a touching event aimed at raising cancer awareness. The football team wore special pink uniforms and there was pink everywhere in the stands.
