John P. Partin has qualified to run in the May 6 Democratic primary for the office of 31st Judicial District public defender, serving Warren and Van Buren counties. Partin, a McMinnville resident, has been an attorney in private practice with the law firm of Galligan and Newman for over 13 years. Partin also serves as municipal judge for the city of Morrison, and formerly served as county attorney for Van Buren County.Partin graduated from Warren County Senior High School.
