Work is slowing progressing on relocation of Nashville Highway. One section of the overall project will be complete this month, says TDOT spokesperson Jennifer Flynn.The section on the downhill side of completion is State Route 287, locally known as Green Hill Road in Centertown.“SR-287 is one stage in the construction,” said Flynn. “It should be finished in April and open to public use.”Residents in the area are delighted by the progress so far.“I think it’s going great,” said resident Dennis Kern.
