Convicted killer J.B. Bounds is expected to have his parole request rejected for a second time in a year after a hearing officer said Thursday he will recommend the parole board deny his release.Bounds, 64, has been behind bars for 30 years since the fatal shooting in February 1981 of Sherman Wright, 27, outside Odyssey Game Room in Smithville. Wright was killed by a 357-caliber blast from a gun wielded by Bounds in a case prosecutors said was cold-blooded murder.The shooting was brought about over a $2,800 gambling debt Wright reportedly owed Bounds. Witnesses said Bounds asked Wright to step outside the game room and moments later heard a shot.
