Restoration plans for Park Theatre are moving forward. Plans should be sent to the state fire marshal this week for approval and city officials made the grant deadline for a chance to receive $250,000 for the project.McMinnville officials must now wait for the fire marshal to approve the plans. The city will be notified of any changes that have to be made to the design.Mayor Jimmy Haley says he was told by architect Peter Metts that word from the fire marshal could be in as little as a week.“Peter didn’t think the fire marshal would take more than a week to review the plans because he knows what he is looking for and now is his slow time,” said Haley.
