McMinnville officials added a line item to the city’s existing annual budget Tuesday night, one that will fund Park Theatre renovation as a capital project.The measure passed unanimously 6-0. Voting in favor were Mayor Jimmy Haley, Vice Mayor Ben Newman, and Aldermen Mike Neal, Jimmy Bonner, Rick Barnes and Billy Wood. Alderman Ken Smith was absent.Wood’s decision to vote yes came after a noticeable hesitation.“I am not against the Park Theatre project,” said Wood, when questioned about the pause after the meeting.
