Pack granted judicial diversion on perjury charge

A woman who lied to the judge while holding her baby in her arms will avoid jail time provided she can avoid any more trouble in the next two years.The mother, Whitney Nicole Pack, was granted a two-year judicial diversion by Circuit Court Judge Bart Stanley on the charge of aggravated perjury. She will also be required to pay a $200 fine. The diversion means she may move for her criminal record to be erased after her two-year probationary period.The false statements were made in General Sessions Court before Judge Larry Ross.
