Measurement Inc. didn’t measure up Monday when a statewide online standardized test given to students across Tennessee crashed, making school systems return to the old, reliable paper and pencil format.“We were ready and our network was prepared extremely well,” said Warren County Director of Schools Bobby Cox of the TN-Ready exams that were to begin with phase one Monday morning. “Then, about 8:30 a.m., we got a call saying the testing portal run by private vendor Measurement Incorporated had experienced infrastructure failure. That’s when the whole state went down.”TN-Ready is the new version of TCAP which measures the progress of students in grades 3-8.
