One person was killed and another seriously injured in a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of New Smithville Road and Este Griffith Road just past On the Way Market Thursday morning. Witnesses say the car driven by the fatally injured victim failed to stop at a stop sign and ran into the path of an oncoming truck. The names have not been released pending the completion of the investigation.
