The Hoover Barber Shop has been featured by Morrison Ruritan as its annual Christmas ornament. The seventh in the series, the shop was built in 1963 by Robert Bob Hoover.
Morrison Ruritan is currently selling its seventh in a series of Christmas ornaments. This year’s ornament features the old Barber Shop.Robert “Bob” Hoover built his barber shop in 1963 and opened for business in September of that year. The shop has been in continuous operation since that date, and has been a fixture on Maple Street for the past 52 years.
