With MTSU spring semester classes getting started last week, the opening of the $16 million Student Services and Admissions building in March will be a much-anticipated and welcome addition to campus for current and future students.MTSU faculty, staff and administrators will welcome thousands of students to campus for not only their classes, but also for music and theatre events, special lectures, athletic competition and more.“It is with great anticipation that we greet the coming academic semester as many of our new student success initiatives — including the opening of the MT One Stop facility — begin to take shape,” said MTSU president Sidney A. McPhee. “This is an exciting time to be part of our university community.”Last fall, MTSU unveiled a Quest for Student Success initiative, helping to eliminate barriers to student success and bolster retention and improve graduation rates. The plan will continue into the new year and new semester.
